Install, support, and maintain Local Area Networks (LANs) and Wireless Local Area Networks (WLANs) across client locations, collaborating with the DIT Network Team for switch configurations and device access
Design, implement, and maintain client VOIP Call Centers, ensuring the integrity of VOIP databases and supporting specialized configurations
Support and maintain both physical and virtual server environments (VMware and Azure)
Administer Active Directory, including creating accounts, managing security groups, and maintaining group policies
Oversee client-shared network printers, coordinating with DIT for policy-based installations and updates
Ensure the security and availability of data and network resources, implementing backups and recovery procedures
Monitor backup schedules and perform data restoration as necessary to maintain critical data access
Respond to Service Desk tickets related to network, server, and VOIP issues
Provide training and high-level support to client staff and maintain updated technical documentation for all infrastructure components
Research, test, and troubleshoot new technologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs
Implement monthly security patches and software updates
What You'll Do
Proficient in managing enterprise scale networks that in include LANs, WANs, SANs, VPNs, and virtualization
Ability to install and maintain Servers, Routers, Hubs, Switches, Ethernet cables, and other peripherals
Ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks and projects
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems and Active Directory
Skilled in TCP/IP networking and the configuration and maintenance of network devices
Knowledge of VMWare Server and Desktop services
Knowledge of current Information Security concepts and ability to apply concepts
Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and physical security considerations relevant to IT infrastructure
Bachelor's degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science, plus three years of information technology experience in Windows Server, Active Directory and Networking
Associate's Degree in an Information Technology field, plus five years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Valid Driver’s license, Reliable vehicle, and Allegheny County residence

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
