Description We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including the timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, and the preparation of financial statements. This role offers a short-term contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, invoicing, revenue recognition, and expense report processing. Manage intercompany transactions and ensure compliance with necessary accounting principles. Prepare and present company's quarterly forecasts and monitor key performance indicators for all departments. Review and record journal entries and monthly reconciliations. Collaborate closely with leadership to help them understand the financial performance of their teams and the company overall. Regularly communicate financial performance, including the creation of scorecards and other reports. Review customer proposals and contracts to assess accounting impact. Maintain a strong internal control environment within the finance department. Oversee the company's treasury and cash forecasting process. Handle ad-hoc assignments as required.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role or a similar position Proficiency in Great Plains (GPAC) software tools Demonstrated experience in handling Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Ability to Analyze Financial Statements effectively Knowledge of Financial Statement Preparation Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting Proficiency in KPI Reporting Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred A professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CGMA is a plus Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Understanding of financial regulations and legislation.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
