Instructor Position Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology University of Pittsburgh School of MedicineThe Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine invites applicants for a faculty position at the Instructor level outside of the tenure track. The candidate will work in the Biomedical Masters Program BMP as Director for Professional Development. The successful candidate will be an inspiring leader who provides strategic direction for the BMP coaching and mentoring program. They will contribute to the admissions proceedings and provide tailored academic advising to graduate students. They will create and deliver course content related to students personal and professional development as well as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion topics. The Director for Professional Development must be a committed advocate for a diverse student body. The position requires patience, flexibility, energy, and a sincere desire to assist students and colleagues. The ideal candidate will role model excellent communication skills, collaboration, and thought leadership. Successful candidates will join a vibrant, diverse, and collaborative program that provides excellent opportunities for continuing career development. A Ph.D. or M.Ed. in Education is highly required. International Coaching Federation Credentials ACC, PCC, or MCC are desirable.Salary is commensurate with experience.
