Environmental Planner (NEPA/Permitting)

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Planner for the Greater Pennsylvania area to work out of our Pittsburgh office. This position will support our Planning team within our Transportation business line. The candidate will work under the direction of transportation, environmental planning, and urban planning staff to provide environmental support for transportation projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region and beyond.This job will involve (but is not limited to) working under the general direction of the Task or Project Lead:Support of planning studies and reportsPreparation of NEPA documents, including Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments and possibly Environmental Impact StatementsField evaluations and assessments, such as wetland delineations, resource assessments, and threatened and endangered species screeningPreparation of technical reportsPreparation of waterway permit packages (federal and state water encroachments, coast guard, aids to navigation, etc.)Public involvement activities including preparation of meeting materials, attendance at meetings, and responding to commentsGeneral technical writing
