Entry-Level Highway Design Engineer

AECOM is actively seeking an Entry-Level Highway Design Engineer to join AECOM's Transportation team in Pittsburgh, PA.This position is scheduled to begin in May 2026.As an Entry Level Highway Design Engineer, you will gain experience working as part of a team on a wide range of transportation projects in the Greater Pennsylvania Area.You will build analytic and design skills, create designs, perform calculations, and draft construction plans under the supervision of an experienced engineer.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Design of roadway geometry, traffic control, signing and pavement markings.Utility coordination support.Computer Aided Design production.Calculation of quantities and cost estimates.
