Company :Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description :GENERAL OVERVIEW:This job is responsible for the direction and leadership of operational financial, and programmatic activities for Marketing and Communications within the AHN Digital and Technology team. This includes developing and implementing marketing communication strategies and comprehensive supporting plans to realize the department and Enterprise's Digital and Technology goals at AHN. The Director will be responsible for outlining the communication plan to support achieving the Digital Health strategy.The Director will lead communication efforts across both internal and external audiences, ensuring a common voice and tone across all communications, and play a vital role to align communications across Digital and Technology innovations. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for Digital Health and Technology. The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating the activities of Marketing Communications for Digital and Technology innovations across the enterprise and serves as the programmatic and operational leader for Marketing Communications. This position monitors the evolving communication landscapes to identify communication trends, including new tools and technologies. The Director drives organizational communication planning, including supporting business case preparation, to better engage our target audiences. This role serves as an expert to advise Digital and Technology team members, clinicians, and operators at AHN and Highmark Health to develop and implement a communications strategies that advance the departments programmatic goals. This will include operational facing newsletters, content development and execution of the communications strategy to include social media, relationship building with clinicians and operators at AHN and activation efforts of technology and digital initiatives. The position works closely with various departments to integrate strategy into program implementation and to inform the strategic communications guidance.This position will work within a matrixed environment indirectly managing and working among teams throughout the enterprise, use communication vehicles to support audience engagement and alignment with Digital Health priorities, and establishes a voice of the CDIO and VPs of Digital Health to support communication and presentation needs.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing and implementing marketing communication strategies and comprehensive supporting plans to realize the department and Enterprise's Digital and Technology goals at AHN. This plan will support achieving the Digital Health strategy.

Drive and develop strategic communication programs that increase AHN Technology and Digital Healthbrand awareness, social benefits, understanding and positive perception.

Develop reporting strategy to monitor marketing performance against goals and ensure optimal performance. Provides direction, guidance and leadership to the senior leaders and department which includes gathering data and compiling reports to determine communication effectiveness and develop different strategies to optimize for internal department and external facing communications.

Incorporates AHN and Highmark Health vision, mission, and values in goals and programs within Marketing and Communications for the Digital Health department.

Plan and produce internal and external messaging (such as newsletters, announcements, and press releases) within AHN and with Highmark Health public relations teams.

Collaborate with the AHN Digital and Technology department to determine communication needs and write clear, simple non-technical messaging about technical innovations that will impact clinicians and operators at AHN and Highmark Health.

Q UALIFICATIONS:Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or Political Science

7 years experience in Developing and Accelerating Strategic Marketing Communications in a highly matrixed organization

5 years experience in Management/Leadership

SubstitutionsNonePreferred

Master's degree inBusiness, Communications or Political Science

3 years experience in Media Relations

3 years experience in Information Technology or Digital Health
