Data/Information Architect

Description We are in search of a data-savvy individual to join our team in the banking industry in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the role of a Data/Information Architect. The role primarily involves working with our data infrastructure, specifically focusing on our transition from Oracle Cloud to Snowflake migration. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity with the potential to work remotely after initial on-site orientation.Responsibilities: Participate in the conversion process from Oracle Cloud to Snowflake migration Apply expertise in data warehousing on Snowflake to optimize data structures and improve system performance Manage data integration and migration projects to ensure data integrity and accuracy Work with Informatica for data management tasks and to facilitate multi-cloud integration Use Cloud Technologies to design and implement efficient data architecture solutions Utilize analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to provide valuable insights from data Implement data governance principles to ensure compliance and data security Apply data modeling techniques to create data structures that meet business requirements Utilize knowledge of DB2 Database and Erwin Data to manage and manipulate databases Leverage skills in Snowflake, Oracle, and Informatica to manage and manipulate data effectively. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data/Information Architect role within the banking industry Proficiency in Cloud Technologies and Database management Experience with DB2 Database and Erwin Data is essential Familiarity with EO/IR systems Proven experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI) Strong understanding of Data Architecture and Data Governance principles Expertise in Data Modeling is required Familiarity with Snowflake, Oracle, and Informatica platforms Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to take initiative Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
