Copywriter, Brand Experience - CONTRACT - 13045
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
POSITION SUMMARY
The Copywriter, Brand Experience crafts engaging, original brand and product storytelling for a wide variety of brands, audiences, and channels. Reporting to SGK's Director of Storytelling, you'll partner with other teams regularly, collaborating on any number of activations from digital and social media to immersive in-person experiential marketing. You'll be counted on to provide ACDs and/or CDs with options and ideas in order to inspire, define, and build out large-scale concepts, campaigns, or other client deliverables. Where necessary, you'll also step in to help ideate on-strategy conceptual approaches for client creative briefs across a range of applications and programs. The ideal candidate has previous writing experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering compelling copy for some of the biggest brands in the world.PLEASE NOTE: This open role is for our part-time Flex Force bench. As a Flex Force employee, you'll work on a project-by-project basis as needed. You'll also have the flexibility to work from home, but may be invited to come into our Carson Street studio on occasion to join in-person collaborative sessions, if available.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
]Ensures accurate, consistent, and timely completion of basic- to intermediate-level client copywriting deliverables within budget, based on objectives and concepts established by the client or team leadership
Adapts writing tonality to a wide variety of brands and audiences, undertaking research where necessary to better understand a brand or their target audience
Always meets quality standards and defined timelines for all assigned deliverables and makes recommendations to management for improvements in content, tools, processes and/or assigned tasks
Presents and participates in collaborative meetings with internal teams to help elevate ideas and collectively find the best answer to the clients' ask
Shows up consistently with strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, and planning skillsQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism or related field
4+ years of previous Communications, Journalism experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications.
Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning).
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients.
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and management.
