You will contribute to the department by managing key administrative and programmatic aspects of the university's community standards and academic disciplinary actions processes, educate students on community expectations, and ensure that university responses to violations of CMU standards are developmental and representative of our values.Core responsibilities will include:Managing follow-up for community standards complaints and academic integrity violations reported to the Office of Community Standards and Integrity;Coordinating workflow for academic and non-academic violations including documentation, tracking, and reporting;Leading process logistics related to the Academic Review Board and University Disciplinary Committee, including hearing moderation;Participate in the selection and training of board members;Consulting with faculty, students and colleagues within university governing bodies, to include General Counsel, University Police, and the Office for Institutional Equity and Title IX;Facilitate educational programs for the campus community;Serve as the academic integrity liaison to a specific college or program;Participate in the Resolution Review Board; andOversee and review applicable policies and procedures.Other duties as assignedAdditionally, you will serve as a Housefellow for a residential house community. Encompassing more than a traditional residence life position, the Housefellow's role involves serving as students' primary metacurricular advocate at the university while enhancing their social, academic, intellectual, artistic and personal development.The Housefellow role is an excellent opportunity if you thrive in a vibrant, dynamic and fast-paced work environment. Housefellows at Carnegie Mellon University are experienced student affairs generalists with an unparalleled opportunity to:Serve as primary university contact and advocate for students living within a designated residential house community and supervise the residential staff;Owning the creation of a thriving residential experience through ensuring the execution of the engage framework. Serving as a conduit for connecting students to the broader metacurricular experience of Carnegie Mellon University;Coordinate emergency response and on-going case management for designated residential population. Liaise and collaborate with campus partners including but not limited to Housing Services, Division of Student Affairs, College Liaisons, University Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, and academic partners to provide community and student support.If desired, you may have the option to be provided with university owned or managed housing that is proximate to campus, contingent on agreement to serve in the campus-wide emergency response daily rotation.You should have strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach, and excellent relationship building abilities.
