As a Business Systems Analyst Sr. - Commercial Card within PNC's Treasury Management organization, you will be based in either Pittsburgh, PA or Birmingham, AL.The Commercial Card Business Systems Analyst Sr. is responsible for meeting the current + future platform needs for our card & expense management solutions. The position will define and perform highly complex analytical systems development tasks. The position requires an individual who can monitor, manage, and assist in the development and implementation of Commercial Card capabilities within its platforms. Support in data collection within the systems and other strategies that optimize client experience and the efficiency and quality of data; acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain stability in the Commercial Card platforms. The position will identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and create and maintain technical documentation for various systems, services and business processes; including database and reporting procedures.Candidates for this position must demonstrate technical proficiency for the Commercial Card platforms, provide data analysis and report creation. Will need to be able to communicate with all levels of staff, provide decision making based on results driven data. Possess the ability to manage multiple projects in multiple functional areas simultaneously. Must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing needs in evolving situations. Develop, modify, maintain and support custom reports for both ad-hoc and ongoing needs. Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Work with MIS on support and maintenance issues that may include specification design and development oversight, as well as testing and integration within other applications. Coordinates the functional requirements with business management and the technical solutions with systems personnel to determine the most cost effective solution. Assist in designs in their programs/platforms, screens and reports necessary to fulfill the information needs of the business unit. Analyzes and approves program specifications, code and design of reports and routines necessary to support reporting. Writes complex test plans, supervises and performs tests of new systems and modifications to existing systems. Performs special projects as assigned.Job Description

Formulates and defines the system scope and objectives, based on user needs and business processes .

Directs business process improvement projects for internal business groups, aiming to improve business results .

Identifies and documents all system constraints, implications and consequences of various proposed system changes .

Provides recommendations for addressing and resolving business issues, for a specific business group .
