Bookkeeper

Description A non-profit organization on the North Shore of Pittsburgh is in need of a temporary to hire Bookkeeper. The Bookkeeper position is onsite but after the training period will be hybrid with 2 days of work being done at home.Parking is FREEThe Bookkeeper would be responsible for the following duties: AP and AR processing, including payment processing via bank merchant services and fund accounting software General ledger maintenance including journal entries, accruals and month end close Grant accounting and management of grant and contract income Prepare weekly invoicing Bank account reconciliationsPrepared foundation and federal grant budgets and reviewed grant application Support new employee onboarding, benefit plans, and order office supplies Assist with IT requirements in the Pittsburgh Office Manage vendor payments via weekly check runs and ACH Batches Assist in annual audits and 990 preparation Help in the monthly closing process including labor allocations, indirect cost allocations, and financial reporting Contribute to the annual budget and quarterly projections process Process weekly and biweekly payroll using ADPIf you are interested in being considered for this Bookkeeper position, please 1) Apply online AND 2) follow up with a phone call to 888-396-0099!Requirements · Associates degree is preferred but experience can trump degree· Experience with nonprofits is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
