JavaScript Developer: Modis, the leader in the IT and Engineering Staffing Industry is currently interviewing candidates for the position of Software Engineer. This is a direct hire, in-house permanent position located in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area. This is an opportunity to work with the latest technologies for one of the fastest growing companies in their industry.

Position Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, document, and implement web applications using Typescript, Vuejs, Nuxt, Nodejs, express, and related frameworks
  • Document, maintain, support, and extend existing web applications
  • Research and recommend technical solutions to fit business needs
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies

    • Core Competencies in one of the following JavaScript Frameworks is required.
  • Web Technologies
  • REST API's
  • Typescript
  • Vuejs (Vuetify, Vuex, Vue Router, Nuxt) or similar JavaScript framework (Angular/React)
  • Nodejs
  • Expressjs
  • Experience with micro-service architecture a plus

    • Development Tools/Technologies
  • VS Code
  • Visual Studio or similar (Eclipse/IntelliJ)
  • Git
  • Azure DevOps or similar (Jira/Rally)

    • Other Technologies
  • C#
  • SQL
  • T-SQL

    • Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
  • 3 years of experience
