HDS Marketing, Inc., an ASI ranked top 50 distributor with offices in Arizona, Kansas, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Guangzhou, China, has an immediate opening for an accounting team member in our Pittsburgh, PA headquarters
In this position you will be working within the accounting team to support the day to day needs of HDS.
What you will be doing may include the following:
Sales & Use Tax filing for multiple states
Managing daily Cash Receipts across multiple ERP systems
Managing Accounts Receivable across multiple ERP systems
Maintaining financial records and daily subsidiary ledgers
Daily General Ledger entries for all cash related activities
Summarizing order related activity for Consolidated Customer Invoicing
Requirements:
HS diploma or equivalent with 1-2 years of relevant administrative/operational support in an office environment
Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, and objectives when carrying out the duties of the job
Ability to work across multiple ERP systems.
A strong understanding of data manipulation, summarizing and formatting using Microsoft Excel.
Self-starter, with highly motivated personality and strong sense of urgency
Desirables:
Experience with Sales Tax and Avalara software is a plus, but not required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload
Excellent time management, analytical skills and ability to support customer and business objectives
