SUMMARY:Join the Adecco Team as a Dye Technicion. The Dye Technician is responsible for accurately weighing, preparing, and delivering dyes and chemicals to dye machines, ensuring quality and consistency in shade matches. This hands-on role requires attention to detail, time management, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Weigh, prepare, and deliver dyes and chemicals to dye machines according to production schedules and priorities.
Verify cleanliness of dye cans and accurately mix dyes using established procedures.
Monitor shade quality and make adjustments as needed to maintain consistent color standards.
Communicate any issues related to dye shades or materials with operators and supervisors to prevent production delays.
Maintain accurate records of dye orders, including color folders and dye cards.
Assist operators with troubleshooting material and equipment issues, and provide guidance on SOPs.
Ensure all safety standards are followed and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Operate forklifts to move materials as needed and load freight for transport.
Perform additional duties as required to meet production goals and improve operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make adjustments to dye shades.
Previous experience with dye preparation or color matching is preferred.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills to collaborate with operators, supervisors, and other team members.
Forklift operation experience and material handling knowledge a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
