Custodian 2nd Shift

Custodian - 2nd Shift (3p-11:30p) Renaissance Academy Charter School is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated 2nd Shift Custodian to help maintain our facilities. Our ideal candidate is careful and thorough, cleaning and tidying the premises with great care and an eye for detail. We prefer applicants who have some professional custodial experience, but we are willing to train the right person. Custodian Duties and Responsibilities ? Taking out the trash, tidying, collect recycling, rearranging furniture, and wiping surfaces as needed ? Maintain floors in a clean state by sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, and waxing, as well as vacuuming carpets ? Daily cleaning and sanitizing of all bathroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, showers, and mirrors ? Restock necessary items, such as soap and paper products ? General outdoor services and maintenance, such as watering plants, mowing the lawn, sweeping entry areas, cleaning glass doors at entrances ? Safe and proper use of insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests ? Clean and service custodial equipment as needed ? Perform minor repairs on furniture, buildings, and equipment ? Report any safety, sanitary, or fire hazards to the appropriate department ? Lock and unlock windows, doors, and gates
