Arway Linen is a linen rental service that has served the greater Philadelphia area for over 40 years. We are currently working on expanding into a new building and will be growing the business and are looking for experienced drivers to join our fleet and grow with us.
Job Duties:
-Skillfully drive 20' to 26' delivery trucks
-Familiarize yourself with our product
-Load and unload product on trucks
-Manage customer inventories
-Lift bags up to 50 pounds and push heavy wheeled carts up to 250 pounds
-Pickup dirty product from customers
-Interact with customers with a respectful and professional demeanor
Job Requirements:
-Must have a valid Driver's License
-Must have a clean Driving Record
-Must have a DOT card or be able to pass a DOT physical examination
-Must be a team player and have a professional attitude
-Do not need to have a CDL
Pay and Benefits:
-We are a Union shop, all Drivers are Teamsters part of the Local 107
-Drivers start at $16.00 and hour and have several increases throughout the course of a year getting rate up to $19.50 and
then receive annual union-set increases every year
-Overtime is available and paid at Time and a Half, Flat-Rate Saturday work is possible
-Several paid Holidays every year
-After 60 days of employment, Drivers are eligible to full Health, Dental, and a term Life insurance and Short Term
Disability policy at no cost to you (except for copays for doctor visits and prescriptions)
-After a year Drivers are eligible for Paid Time Off including Sick, Personal, and Vacation time
