Skilled Home Repair & Remodeling Technician. Part Time/Flex Time.
Abington Handyman Services LLC is currently accepting employment applications for Home Repair and Remodeling Technicians/Maintenance Mechanics on a Part-Time, As-Needed Basis to start, to work with our Lead Home Repair & Remodeling Technician and Manager. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
This is an Employer-Employee Position. No Independent Contractors or crews. Flex Schedule is possible.
Work Schedule is dependent on employee availability and work demand.
Must have at least 5 years of proven experience in home repair and renovation work.
Must be friendly, detail orientated, committed to providing exceptional workmanship, dependable, trustworthy, and skilled in all of the following areas:
Carpentry (basic framing and finish)
Plumbing (installation and repairs to toilets, sinks, vanities, faucets, drains, and traps)
Electrical (light switches, outlets, ceiling fixtures, ceiling fans,)
Masonry (Sidewalks, brick and block repair and installation, stucco repairs, etc.)
Drywall Work (hanging, patching, taping, and finishing)
Painting (preparation, priming and painting)
Window and Door installation
Miscellaneous Work and Odd jobs (mechanically minded and strong problem-solving skills)
EPA Lead Safe Renovator (RRP) Certification preferred but not required.
Must have valid driver's license and own transportation.
Must be able to lift at least 80 pounds and work from heights on a ladder.
Successful applicants will be required to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Competition Agreement prior to starting any work.
Must have Clear Criminal History and Child Abuse Clearances.
Pre-Employment Background and Drug Screening checks are performed.
Wages commensurate with Experience.
