Iconic Windows is a growing company that specializes in the restoration of old wood windows and the construction of custom wood windows. We believe that the high quality old windows are worth saving and build windows to match the quality of the old. Our shop is located in Chadds Ford but our work spans the Northeast.
We are looking to fill two different positions. The first position is for an in shop carpenter to help produce the various different custom windows that we offer. This is perfect for a cabinetmaker that is looking to get back into more traditional joinery. The second position to help us install the custom windows that we produce. This role requires carpentry experience and an ability to safely work from ladders. Half of the time in this role is spent working outside cutting, fitting, and installing windows. The other half is spent assisting in the construction and production of our custom wood windows. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift 50 lbs. Pay starts at $25/hr and there is plenty of room to grow. We also have a company matching retirement plan and paid vacations.
We have a very easy-going atmosphere. We offer fairly flexible schedules with a focus on getting the job done not when you do it. This role offers a nice mix of variety. There is also a lot of room to grow here. Our company has a growing interest in our services and the only thing holding us back is the size of our staff.
