Experienced Pool Service Technician
We’re a small, local pool company looking to add an experienced and reliable pool service technician to our service team. This is not an entry-level role - applicants should have prior experience with weekly pool maintenance, familiarity with common pool systems and equipment, and the ability to work independently.
If you take pride in high-quality service, enjoy working outdoors, and know your way around pumps, filters, and water chemistry, this could be a great fit.
We are not currently hiring for a lead mechanic.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Performing routine pool cleanings, including brushing, skimming, vacuuming, and filter maintenance
Balancing and managing pool water chemistry safely and effectively
Operating and maintaining equipment such as pumps, vacuums, and heaters
Identifying and communicating issues with pool systems (we don’t expect you to be a mechanic, but you should be able to spot problems and escalate appropriately)
Loading/unloading work trucks and maintaining a clean job site
Interacting professionally with customers and communicating clearly with the team
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience in residential pool service (minimum one season preferred)
Comfortable working outside in all types of weather. We do not work in thunderstorms.
Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from the office
Dependable, on time, and ready to work
Positive attitude and respectful to both customers and coworkers
Pay starts at $20/hr and is commensurate with experience. If you bring years of experience or additional skills to the table, we’re happy to pay accordingly.
Note: This is a seasonal position, typically running from April (or time of hiring) through early November.
