Want to take advantage of your creative side AND learn the ins and outs of being a YouTuber?
I run a YouTube channel and produce 1x video a week. I am looking for someone who loves shooting beautiful and creative b-roll of product(s)) and can take those shots and edit an engaging video in its entirety in preparation for a weekly video release.
At a technical level, I am looking for someone who understands how to utilize a camera and lights, has a keen eye for aesthetics and high quality production, and is very familiar with video editing software (preferably Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects).
This person will be able to take my Talking Head/A-Roll footage and capture relevant and beautiful B-Roll footage. This person will then be able to edit the video in its entirety with engaging text and visualizations.
- Anticipated hours per week? Apx 15 hours
- Equipment Needed? All equipment will be provided
- In-Person or Remote? Role will begin on-site, with potential of going partially remote after workflow and preferences are better understood
- Will this role be expanded (half time, full time, etc)? This will begin as a contractor role, but can definitely grow into something more permanent!
- Pay? Up to $60/hour depending on experience and skillset
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Proficient with cameras (currently using Sony A7sIII, Edelkrone Jig)
- Proficient with lighting (Currently have multiple Aputure lights)
- Strong understanding of taking video of products
- A keen eye for high quality production and aesthetics
- Creativity is encouraged
- Able to think on your feet with little instruction
