Part-Time Contract Medical Sales Representative in Northwest Philadelphia, PA
A national healthcare marketing firm is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as a Part-Time Contract Medical Sales Representative (subcontractor & part-time) for a local medical practice in Northwest Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will help expand the group’s referral network. This part-time position pays $2,500 a month (upon completion of assigned activities - see details below)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field sales and marketing for our client's practice.
- Gather competitive information, handle objections, and provide feedback to our clients.
- Document each sales and marketing interaction (visits, phone calls, emails) and relay pertinent information to clients promptly.
-Communicate regularly with clients and contractors, at least weekly.
-Secure commitments from potential referral sources, such as referrals or formal meetings with our client.
-Visit a targeted number of unique medical offices weekly, with follow-up via phone or email as needed - easily attainable.

Qualifications:
- Must have medical experience.
- Medical sales experience preferred!
- Pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience is a plus.
- Comfortable discussing complex medical services or products with doctors and other medical professionals.
- Ability to navigate medical facilities and interact with medical providers, receptionists, practice managers, MAs, PAs, etc.
- Capable of overcoming objections professionally.
- Ability to multitask and service various clients and services.
- Must have a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
- Attire: Medical professional/general business attire.
Education:
- College degree with documented sales or marketing experience and achievements.
- Or, non-college degree with significant sales or marketing experience in complex chemicals, devices, or procedures, with documented sales achievements.
- Or, current college or graduate students seeking internships or experience in healthcare sales.
Compensation: $2,500 Monthly (comprised of three components):
$1,200 Base Salary
$300 Fixed Local Travel Allowance
$1,000 Very Attainable Incentive Pay
