Outside Sales Representative - Deregulated Energy & Community Solar

Location: California, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania,

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representatives to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of deregulated energy and community solar products to residential and commercial customers within your designated territory. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for renewable energy and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment while earning competitive commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and engage potential customers for deregulated energy and community solar products.

Conduct door-to-door and/or B2B sales visits to generate leads and close sales.

Educate customers on the benefits of deregulated energy and community solar, including cost savings and environmental impact.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and new products to effectively communicate with customers.

Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Attend regular sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in outside sales, preferably in deregulated energy, solar, or a related field preferred but not required.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
