J.A. Cunningham Equipment is a 78-year-old, second generation family business which sells a full line of welding supplies, gases, and related welding equipment. Our main office is located in the Fishtown area of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a second office in York, Pennsylvania. We also own Weldsale Company which manufactures welding tables and tools. Weldsale is currently looking for a customer service/sale representative who can also provide support to shipping & receiving.

Responsibilities:
Sales/Customer Service
- Answer sales calls and respond to emails in a professional and efficient manner.
- Send out product information and educate customers on our product range.
- Offer a variety of product-related solutions to clients.
- Utilize inbound call opportunities to generate sales.
- Create quotes and estimates, both in our ERP computer system and in our email system.
- Determine freight costs.
- Accept and process incoming purchase orders.
- Receive and process orders on behalf of customers in an efficient and accurate manner, as well as provide order status updates and other information to customers as requested.
- Maintain data entry of new customer information plus update existing customers.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and demonstrate how we can add value to their business.
- Identify potential customer needs/opportunities to grow our business.
- Conduct follow-up calls on a daily basis to customers who have expressed an interest in our products or those who have received quotes.
- Miscellaneous administrative tasks.
- Attend any necessary product-training sessions.
- Comply with all company procedures and policies.
Warehouse/Shipping
- Pull, package and ship outgoing orders via UPS as well as load trucks for delivery.
- Drive a forklift; certification not required but would be helpful.
- Organize and clean warehouse as well as various storage areas.
- Receive incoming parts and products.
- Put incoming products away on pallet racks and in various storage areas.
Experience/Skills:
- Previous warehouse experience helpful as well as customer service/sales experience
- Organization and time management skills essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (approachable, positive, motivated, go-getter attitude).
- Desire to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ability to sell and cross sell.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, Goldmine and Trendex.
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug screening.
Qualifications: HS Diploma or equivalent
Pay Range: Negotiable, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday
