A&L Foods seeks an experienced In-bound Warehouse Supervisor in our busy Bensalem, PA location. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, and a problem solver with proven record of coaching, developing, and motivating a diverse team. The position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of a team responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory, and the safe transport of products. The work shift is Monday-Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Some of What You Will Do:
Supervise, coach, develop, evaluate, and mentor your team.
Evaluate staff performance and provide guidance and discipline when needed.
Help to recruit and hire new warehouse staff.
Ensure quality and safety standards are met and maintained.
Plan work schedules for the efficient use of labor and to reduce overtime costs.
Maintain accurate inventory counts and take precautions to protect against inventory loss.
Oversee housekeeping and product code rotation.
Oversee and/or provide new hire training for all warehouse staff.
Enforce policies and procedures.
Other duties as directed by management.
What you need:
3-5 years of proven supervisory experience in a warehouse environment. HS Diploma or GED. Strong planning, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. PC proficient and ability to use MS Office. Ability to operate a Forklift and warehouse equipment safely. Proficient in freight handling and loading techniques. Strong math ability. Trained in HACCP. Flexibility to work as needed until work is completed.
