We are a small, family owned, women and non-binary run retail business in our 17th year and we are looking for part time help!
We need folks for Thursday, Friday and Sunday right now with the possibility of covering shifts as they arise and perhaps even taking over more full days as we move into Spring and Summer though this is not meant to be just a Summer job. We value long term employees and have employed many people through their college and grad school years. Applicants must be comfortable interfacing with a very broad range of folks as our customer base is diverse. Retail experience is preferred, but some sort of customer experience is a must because the service we give our customers is a huge cornerstone of our shop! This position will work side by side with other team members at times, but applicants must be able to work independently as the need arises, which entails assisting customers in their shopping and running the sale on our POS system and being able to gift wrap. We are looking for folks who take initiative when there are quiet moments to work ahead on tasks that can’t happen at busier times.
