A growing wholesale business in Center City, Philadelphia is looking to hire a Shipper/Receiver to join their team. Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task. The hours are Monday through Friday 9am to 6PM and two Saturdays per year. Jewelry experience is preferred but not necessary.
Open packages from customers. Verify that all the merchandise in the box is accounted for. Return the merchandise off the customers memos. Process drop shipment labels to have merchandise sent from one customer to another. Process shipping for all merchandise each day to be sent to our customers. We ship an average of 110 boxes a night. We ship via FedEx and UPS, knowledge of that software is required. Our POS system is a micro-soft product and we use excel frequently. This candidate will be working with our Shipping Manager who has been here for 14 years.
