Job Overview and Requirements
The Data and Mail Operations Specialist is responsible to collect, update and analyze various database inventories. He or she will also be required to produce and prepare letters via mail merge. He or she will also support the Data Analysis department as needed. A proficient or advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word is required, together with a strong aptitude in verbal and mathematical reasoning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Review and edit client data to prepare for electronic import into database.
Conduct mail merges in order to prepare certified and first class mail notices of delinquency.
Support Data Analysts in tracking, coordinating and uploading incoming client data files.
Assist in reviewing data for inconsistencies or anomalies.
Research property owner information and update, import and export records as needed
Gather information regarding third-party sales scheduled, obtain results of said sales, and update all related information in database.
Assist in process of weekly remittance of funds to clients.
Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree with a major in field related to computer science, accounting mathematics and/or communications. Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited institution preferred.
Strong technical skills.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and cultivate relationships.
Ability to work on an issue independently.
Ability to work additional hours, including overtime on occasion, until work for day is complete.
Ability to organize and handle multiple priorities, remain flexible, complete projects on time.
A willingness to learn new things and the demonstrated ability to implement/execute quickly.
Dependable with strong work ethic and personal integrity.
Ability to learn and navigate software applications.
