We’re looking for a strong Graphic Designer who will be working REMOTELY with us.
Job Description
The Graphic Designer conceptualizes and designs graphic elements to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate audiences. They develop the overall layout and production design for multichannel deliverables such as promotional materials, websites, and videos. The Graphic Designer is highly motivated, with a thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). The Graphic Designer demonstrates a strong sense of design coupled with technical ability and knowledge of pre-press print procedures and web design principles. The Graphic Designer is a self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic team environment while assuming accountability for accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the finished assignment.
Job Duties
Concept, layout, and design
Creation of finished comps or mockups for client presentation and review
Incorporate reviewers’ changes to layouts
Manage projects through to completion
Ability to receive, interpret and follow creative direction
Liaise with outside suppliers: printers, designers and vendors
Maintain quality control
Liaise with agency staff, project managers, client services and scientific directors
Provide weekly reports to Creative Director on current projects
Assist in trafficking workflow through project managers
Assist in the preparation of timelines and print estimates
Prepare and manage materials for print production with external vendors
Assist with scanning, retouching, pre-press checks, archiving, color correction, and proofing
Key Competencies
Expert knowledge of Macintosh operating system and design software
(familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel a plus)
Strong creative design and conceptual skills

Qualifications
Requirements
Associate’s degree in design or related field, or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree (liberal arts discipline) is preferred.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of studio experience, preferably in medical communications
Preferred Skills/Experience
2+ years experience specifically working as a graphic designer in related field
Familiarity with agency workflow process
Healthcare ad agency background a plus
