Job Offer: Yard Operations Specialist
Our company is seeking a dedicated and versatile Yard Operations Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient yard operations and providing excellent service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Greet and direct customers within the yard, guiding them to appropriate areas for dumping various types of green waste materials (e.g., logs, woodchips, brush).
Interact with clients to provide pricing information for services and materials and accurately collect payments.
Operate forklifts and trucks for the purpose of selling company materials (e.g., mulch, compost).
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on various yard machines and equipment.
Assist with other yard-related tasks as needed to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Requirements:
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a must.
Proven ability to operate forklifts and trucks safely and efficiently.
Willingness and ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time position.
Weekends are available and may be required.
Overtime opportunities will be available.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
