Northeast Adult Day Center is looking for a caring and attentive Recreation Activity Assistant to support our clients, including those with dementia and behavioral needs, through meaningful recreational activities. You will work closely with our Activities Director to carry out engaging daily activities that enhance clients’ well-being and overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing daily leisure and recreational activities planned by the Activities Director
Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Supervise assigned clients to ensure their safety and well-being
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced care environment
Demonstrated compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting clients with dementia and behavioral challenges
