FirstLight Home Care Mainline Now Interviewing Senior Helpers / Caregivers for Companion Care for Female Client with Dementia
Husband is Primary Caregiver.
Location is Private Home in Phoenixville, PA 19460
Requested Schedule is Mondays and Wednesdays 9am - 1pm for a Total of 8 Hours Weekly
Current Care Plan is As Follows:
To engage client and keep her active. She is a vibrant, active younger senior woman who lives at home with her husband.
He is her primary caregiver but seeks some time off every week on Mondays and Wednesdays for self-care.
He manages supporting her personal care needs full-time and generally keeps her occupied and would like another person to help keep her safe, stimulated and engaged. She is in terrific physical shape and likes to go on walks and sit outside. She also might like reading and help with working in the kitchen. She will require supervision for safety, setup and prompting for engagement and activity, as well as directing and redirecting as needed.

Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during working hours. Able-bodied is a must!
Additionally, caregivers interviewing for this FirstLight Home Care family must be able to demonstrate a familiarity and understanding of dementia as a medical diagnosis, as well as an understanding of behaviors and behavior management associated with the Disease.
Additional Requirements include: TB Test, Criminal Background Check and Completion of a Competency and Training Program. Must Be Available to Interview and Onboard in Person at Our Devon, Pennsylvania Office.
