Viable Candidate Specifications:
Non-Smoker
Valid driver's license and transportation to and from work
Comfortable driving a minivan (wheelchair accessible)
Live-in opportunity for a maximum of 3 nights at a time, schedule to be determined
Lift and transfer 90 pounds several times per day (in and out of a wheelchair) - once you learn the proper and safe technique, it’s really not that difficult!
Ability to multitask a variety of responsibilities including basic caregiving and household management
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Discretion and confidentiality
BA or BS obtained or in-progress, but not required
How did we forget to mention the quite competitive compensation! $480 per 24-hour shift ($20 per hour), with increases. Additional benefits include bonus pay, time and a half for holidays and paid vacation days after a 90-day probationary period.
