Medical Biller and Coder – Valley Wellness Office (73 Buck Road)
Valley Wellness is seeking an experienced Medical Biller and Coder to join our dedicated healthcare team at 73 Buck Road. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chiropractic and physical medicine billing, insurance verification, and ICD-10/CPT coding accuracy.
Responsibilities:
Submit and track insurance claims accurately and promptly
Perform electronic and paper billing for multiple carriers
Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations as needed
Review clinical documentation for accurate ICD-10 and CPT coding
Post payments, reconcile EOBs, and follow up on unpaid claims
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and insurers
Requirements:
Minimum 1–2 years of medical billing and coding experience (chiropractic or multidisciplinary office preferred)
Proficiency with ICD-10, CPT, and HCFA claim forms
Experience with EHR and clearinghouse systems
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Schedule:
Full-time available.
