Lochel's Bakery is hiring for an experienced PT or FT Pastry Chef/ Cake Decorator.
We're looking for someone highly motivated, well organized and who wants to learn!
Job duties include:
Completing all Gourmet Desserts/ Cakes, cupcakes, pastries, etc
Mixing icing, fillings and buttercream
Mixing all buttercream colors
Prepping freezer stock
Prepping all cakes for decorators
Coming up with new, exciting ideas and choices of desserts
Prepping donuts, cake pops, misc pastry items
Customer service when needed
Misc. duties as assigned
Applicant must be able to work closely with others in our cake decorating area where you have all the tools, equipment and help needed to make each cake great! We welcome new ideas, recipes and thoughts!
Applicant must be ok with media attention as we have a lot of media in/out of bakery.
Hours vary but will be gone over during interview process however weekends are essential to the position. Typically, every Saturday and every other Sunday on a team rotation. It is essential you are available the holidays that we are open along with complying to all other essential days. Bakeries are a weekend/holidays-based business.
