Ice Cream Production
Weckerly’s Ice Cream is a scratch kitchen dedicated to crafting high-quality ice cream using locally sourced ingredients. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our fast-paced production team. We are looking to hire to ramp up for summer but we are also expanding our year-around team since we are expanding our wholesale and retail foot print!
Key Responsibilities:
Follow recipes for baking and ice cream production
Operate commercial kitchen equipment and ice cream machines
Process ingredients, cut sandwiches, wrap, and package products
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in the kitchen
Receive deliveries and assist with inventory management
Complete daily logs for food safety and equipment checks
Requirements:
Previous culinary experience required
Previous baking experience preferred (we have found that bakers thrive in our production faculty)
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks
Punctual, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a small team
Strong attention to detail and adherence to food safety standards
Year-round availability
