We have a unique opportunity for a talented, ambitious chef! Our award-winning café is on the brink of expansion- again! We've added food trucks to our lineup. We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in the culinary field, and a comprehensive knowledge of various cuisines We're seeking a chef with a hands-on management style, someone who will be actively involved in the kitchen daily.
Your Key Responsibilities are- fine tuning recipes, food costing, weekly specials, and directing the physical plant organization, maintenance and cleanliness. Oversee from-scratch production and manage line turn out. Prepare large batch quantities and assist with food prep. Train and mentor our talented staff, all with the assistance of 2 sous chefs.
In our high-volume (up to 800 covers a day) environment, you’ll need exceptional organizational skills, knowledge of catering production, a basic understanding of Cajun /Creole /Southern cooking, and Excell and Word Doc skills -and the desire to succussed

What We Offer:
A competitive salary (commensurate with experience) $65,000-$75,000 plus a quarterly bonus.
