The Side Bar is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef or Cook to join our team! We’re a creative, food-loving kitchen with a focus on vegetarian and vegan cuisine, and we’re looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for high-quality, fresh ingredients.

Located in the heart of Doylestown, The Side Bar is a dynamic and ever-evolving eatery inspired by local farmers’ markets, family recipes, and the dishes we love to eat and share. Our menu celebrates vegetarian and vegan dishes, with a few carefully curated meat options—but we’re transitioning to a fully vegetarian menu in the coming months.
What We’re Looking For:
A skilled Chef or Cook who is passionate about food and enjoys experimenting with new recipes.
Someone familiar with vegan and vegetarian cooking techniques and ingredients.
A collaborative team player who thrives in a small kitchen environment (1-2 people on the line).
A creative thinker who can contribute to a menu that evolves based on seasonality, market inspiration, and guest favorites.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare and cook small-batch, fresh dishes that highlight quality over quantity.
Collaborate on menu development, bringing your ideas and creativity to the table.
Help uphold our values of sourcing locally and making everything from scratch.
Take the lead in the kitchen as the owner transitions out of day-to-day cooking.
