Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. Ardmore Music Hall is a live music venue located in Ardmore PA. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patrons and employees. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor and protect the venue, prevent unauthorized access, and respond to any security incidents that may arise.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue to ensure the safety and security of the facility and patrons
- Enforce entry procedures by checking identification, verifying credentials, and welcoming ticket holders
- Respond alarms or calls for assistance, including investigating disturbances or potential security threats
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting employees, patrons, and artists with inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or provide evidence
- Complete detailed reports on security incidents, including observations, actions taken, and any necessary follow-up
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Proven experience in security or related field preferred
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is a plus
