One month appointment 6/1/24 to 6/30/24 for post graduation/thesis defense in Dr. Patrick Loll's laboratory doing research in the Biochemical and biophysical characterization of the VanSB periplasmic domain.

Essential Functions

Express and purify recombinant VanSB protein.

Produce isotope-labeled protein for NMR analysis.

Perform binding assays to measure antibiotic-protein affinities.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Molecular Biology or Similar Field

Minimum of 0-3 years of experience.

Physical Requirements

Typically sitting at a desk/table.

Typically standing, walking.

Lifting demands 25lbs

Center City, Philadelphia, PA.

Additional Information

This is a Full Time Temporary position classified as Non Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
