Accurately, efficiently, and thoroughly prepare and review individual, partnership, corporate and fiduciary tax returns of moderate complexity.

Prepare work papers and other documentation, including (but not limited to) tax journal entries to the trial balance, book to tax journal entries, depreciation schedules.

Develop tax plans and projections for tax extensions.

Reconcile taxable income.

Conduct research and stay abreast of latest regulatory changes in tax.

Provide assistance to peers and others when requested, including overseeing, reviewing work of interns.

Act as engagement leader as assigned.

Recognize extended to tax service opportunities for client and bring them to the attention of upper managementQualifications

B.S. in Accounting; MS in Taxation desired

CPA certification or eligibility required

2-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in a mid to large public accounting firm

Understanding of the complex requirements of returns for High Net Worth Individuals, S Corps, C Corps, partnerships

Understand all aspects of an engagement

Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles (such as financial statements and journal entries) and tax standards to effectively supervise staff and solve routine engagement principles

Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills

Developed analytical, problem solving, and time managementskills

Leadership capabilities
