Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify the company's bank statement with our internal financial records. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data. Prepare journal entries, documenting business transactions in adherence to standard accounting practices. Conduct month-end close procedures to finalize financial data for the specific period. Collaborate with other team members to improve financial processes within the organization. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Resolve any accounting discrepancies that may arise, ensuring all accounts are up to date and accurate.Requirements The Ideal Staff Accountant will meet the following Requirements: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) Significant experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Prior experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance and management Expertise in creating and managing Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close procedures Proficiency in using Oracle for accounting purposes Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management Familiarity with Sage MAS 90 software Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent time management and organizational skills.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
