Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital. The hospital has been serving the medical and health care needs of the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls and northwest section of Philadelphia communities for more than a century, having first opened its doors in 1890. Roxborough Memorial Hospitals School of Nursing has been educating nurses since 1898. Assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department.QualificationsEducation and Work Experience

Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in speech-language pathology required.

Clinical doctorate in speech-language pathology (SLPD) and and or PhD in speech-language pathology or communication sciences and disorders preferred.

Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment free of disciplinary action required.

Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) free of disciplinary action - OR - Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.

At least one year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current required.
