Clarivate is seeking a dynamic Senior Counsel - Content Licensing to join our global Legal team! The Senior Counsel - Content Licensing will be based in any North American city with a Clarivate office and will form part of a highly respected global legal team. This role will be a legal business partner and will play a leading role in the structuring and negotiation of Clarivate's purchasing contracts.About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
Juris Doctor
Admitted in good standing to the bar of working location
4+ years' experience as an attorney working with contractsIt would be great if you also had
Experience with content licensing (bonus points if in academia)
Large law-firm and in-house experience
Experience with a CLM system (i.e. Ironclad)What will you be doing in this role?
Reviewing and negotiating a broad range of Clarivate contracts
Helping to establish Clarivate's contract review procedures, especially with respect to Clarivate's new contract lifecycle management solution
Working closely with leaders across the business on strategy concerning the purchasing of software, content, data, and more
Identify ongoing personal training and developmental needs as part of continuous career and professional development
Some travel on an as needed basisAbout the Team
The Strategic Transactions and Technology team provides legal support across Clarivate, including for corporate transactions, intellectual property matters, commercial contracts, AI, and more.Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hybrid position working out of one of our Americas office locations.
