As a recognized compensation expert, provide a high level of strategic consultative services to solve compensation issues and ensure that compensation programs align with short- and long-term business objectives. Liaise with mostly SVP/VP levels of management within the organization in order to address compensation concerns. Assist with ensuring effectiveness of compensation policies, guidelines and programs to support the retention, attraction and motivation of employees.What you will do

Act as a strategic consultant providing advice and guidance mostly to Executive (SVP/VP) level of leadership by developing effective solutions pertaining to compensation issues. Employ strategies to influence leadership decisions, influence behaviors and drive business objectives. Partner with other Human Resources teams (Business Partners, Talent Management, etc.) to provide direction on compensation matters. Help develop and deliver training on compensation related programs.

Co-leads various projects to address business need with an enterprise-wide lens and applying a scalable, transparent, user friendly and nimble Compensation guiding principles. These may include designing, modeling and costing new compensation strategies.

Analyze compensation trends, research best practices. monitors economic conditions and keeps up with regulations to ensure compliance with state and federal wage and hour laws and keep current with best practices. Utilizes reports/dashboards to come up with a data driven solution and recommendations. Perform in-depth analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives.

Conduct job evaluation mostly for moderate to complex cases (new jobs created of org design/restructuring/senior leadership roles/role expansion). Performs analysis to determine the appropriate salary level to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

Audit and analyze internal compensation practices in relation to relevant regulations; develop recommendations for corrective actions as needed; provide compensation compliance consultation to HR and to assigned business clients

Mentors Comp Analyst in the effective delivery of Comp consulting work. e.g. reports, data analysis. presentations

Ensure timely delivery of Compensation Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as defined (Service Tickets, Financial Stewardship targets to name a few)

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - Required

Experience Qualifications

At least five (5) years Progressively responsible experience in compensation design and administration - Required

At least two (2) years Compensation consulting and partnership with business leaders - Preferred

Skills and Abilities

Analytical ability combined with sound practical judgment (Required proficiency)

Exc llent human relations skills, and verbal and written communications skills (Required proficiency)

Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, database, and word processing computer applications. (Required proficiency)
