Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Center City - Philadelphia are currently hiring

Divisional Per Diem Registered Nurses for ICU/Critical Care Per Diem. ICU/Critical Care Per Diem Nurses will float to all Intensive and Critical Care Units as well as Intermediate Care, Telemetry, Progressive Care, and Medical Surgical Units as needed.

Divisional Per Diem Registered Nurses will work on the inpatient units as mentioned above at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Jefferson Methodist Hospital, and Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience.

All positions are self-scheduled based on availability: 6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am.

Requirements Include:
  • 48 hours per 6 week period
  • 24 of those hours will be scheduled on the weekend
  • 24 of those hours will be scheduled on the night shift
  • 3 major holidays or premium days required per year
Divisional Per Diem Registered Nurses are compensated a

base rate of $54 per hour. Divisional Per Diem RNs will receive shift differential for night and weekends as well as holiday pay. Qualified candidates will have:

Qualified candidates will have:
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care Experience
  • Proof of an adult Critical Care Course (either completion certificate or transcript)
  • BLS/ACLS
  • Graduate of an accredited BSN Program
  • Pennsylvania RN License

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check.
