Posted Date: Jun 21 2024The Purpose of the Regional Vaccines Supply Director is to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure reliable supply of vaccines from GSK Vx manufacturing sites to the regional markets, thus strongly contributing to Vaccines achieving regional sales ambition. Vaccines supply and demand takes place through an integrated E2E process between GSK Vx Manufacturing sites and the LOC's (Local Operating Company i.e. affiliate) or third-party customers through this regional role and its team.This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:Regional Supply/Demand Management:

Accountable for ensuring efficient and timely execution of the regional supply plans, escalation and resolution of the associated issues/risks.

Face of GSK Vaccines supply organization (representing GIO) at the regional GSK S&OPs chaired by regional SVPs.

Ensures Vaccines supply input to regional S&OPs is aligned and in line with the Global Vaccines Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) processes (GSRM and S&OP).

Drive proactive issue management ensuring prioritization based on market/value impact, accountable for SCIM process for the entire region. Proactively identify potential issues/risks and build solutions.

Accountable for On Time In Full (OTIF) service management for regional SKU portfolio and developing and driving continuous improvement projects and executing to deliver service, cost and cash benefits.

Responsible for recruiting, managing and developing team of supply manager(s) for the applicable region to enable effective succession planning and development of key talent.

Lead regular review of Stock at LOC projections for regional SKU portfolio based on latest supply plan, sales actual/forecast. Raise actions to VMLs/LOCs to help mitigate gap between forecast and allocation. Drive consolidated feedback from the region to product teams to optimize supply phasing (where needed).

Ensures participation of the team to the key LOC DRMs (Demand Review Meetings) as face of supply side of the organization to ensure risks and opportunities are properly assessed and escalated to Global Vaccines governance (e.g., Global Demand Review Meeting).

Accountable for efficient inventory management at LOCs for the respective region. Influences Commercial on increasing allocation for regional SKUs with excess inventory at LOC to help drive sales upside. Similarly, ensures appropriate mitigation actions are in place for inventory at risk of expiration.

Tender/Contract Management: Accountable for the overall supply proposal for the tender demand for the regional SKU portfolio. Ensure supply proposal is executable and delivered as promised.

Supply Chain Segmentation Strategy Execution and Sustain:

Ensure that differentiated inventory targets (min, max) are in place for key regional SKUs as per agreed customer service level. Lead review of stock at LOC projections for the region to ensure adherence. Escalate to Product Teams in case of issues.

Drive implementation of differentiated replenishment programs (replenishment frequencies and fixed repetitive schedule) for key regional SKUs as per defined segmentation strategy.

Responsible for sustaining the segmentation strategy for the region.

Strategic Supply/Distribution Strategy:

Lead strategic supply agenda and associated changes for the region, for e.g., serialization, launch strategy/presentation, changed regulations on reporting to authorities in case of supply disruptions etc.

Provide market insights and support optimization of distribution/channel strategy.

Lead GSK Vaccines representation in "above country" Supply Chain Forums e.g. Europe Partnership meetings

Financials:

Ensure regional supply upsides and disruption information is proactively provided to Commercial Finance for effective in ut to financial processes and for financial impact assessment.

Drive supply prioritization across the regional SKU portfolio to support quarterly sales optimization, where needed.

Ensure GIO/GVSC voice is well represented in financial discussions related to write-off of inventory in markets or penalties related to tenders.Why you?Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Bachelor's Degree

5+years' experience in Supply Chain, Logistics & related activities such as Customer Service, Planning, Stock management, Commercial and Financial background

3+ years' experience in pharma, bio-medical, or vaccines

3+ years' leadership experiencePreferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

Master's Degree

Pharmaceutical / FMCG / Commercial Supply Chain Experience.

Change management experience both in terms of business and organization

Knowledge of cGxP requirements

Strong leadership skills with strategic vision and ability to lead direct & matrix organization towards aligned goals

Experience in managing fast paced crisis/issue management situations

Global, cross-functional and multi-cultural leadership experience

People management experience
