We are currently seeking a Project Architect to join our growing architectural practice in Philadelphia, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth and to contribute to an expanding portfolio of work, including transit, educational, industrial, and healthcare projects. The candidate will work closely with other architects and engineers, leading multi-discipline teams and supporting project development.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Leading multidiscipline projects and coordinating with design, engineering, and construction management teams.
Maintaining your assigned project budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
Participating in client meetings and on-site work sessions.
Interacting with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors to coordinate project requirements and design intent.
Conducting site observations and generating field reports.
Performing code analyses.
Researching products and building materials for design implementation.
Presenting at regulatory review meetings.
Producing architectural drawings and project documents including conceptual renderings, construction documents, and specifications.
Detailing building assemblies and technical solutions.
Performing technical and quality reviews.
Reviewing shop drawings and RFI's.
Communicating with Project Managers and Principals on project progress, issues, recommendations, and action plans.
Additional roles:
Mentoring your peers in your area of expertise. May relate to technology, technical detailing, contracts, quality, or other. Education | Experience:
Qualifications:
7-10+ years of architectural experience.
Registered Architect in PA is desired.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a Master of Architecture degree is required.
High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit with experience in both design and construction documentation is required.
Experience with 3D Modeling software such as Sketch Up Pro, Enscape or similar is desired.
Ideal candidate must be dynamic, creative, and detail oriented with strong design and graphic skills.
Must be effective at communicating with team members, clients, and regulatory officials.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Suite or Bluebeam Revu.
Proficient knowledge of building materials and building codes or standards is required, including current International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, and LEED.
Must be able to work effectively in large team environments for multiple projects and independently on smaller assigned tasks.
