Postgre SQL Developer/DBA - 117600BRDESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Infosys is seeking a Postgre SQL Developer This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Reston, VA or Philadelphia, PA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require 20% travel in the US.
Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent, will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
4+ years of Information Technology experience
U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in PostgreSQL and 1 or more NoSQL {Couchbase, Cassandra, MongoDB}.
Process automation experience (Ansible)
Proficient in Scripting language for automation (eg. Perl, Python and Shell)
Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
MySQL and additional NoSQL experience (Couchbase, Cassandra, MongoDB)
Experience in a virtual environment, including but not limited to VMWare, OpenStack or Amazon.
Experience in networking
Familiarity with test repository tools like HP ALM and Test rail and defect tracking tools like JIRA and Github.
High-level analytical skills
Critical thinker.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
