We're hiring a Personal Banker to join our University City Team.

This person is responsible for developing and maintaining a personal portfolio of prospects and customers and delivering exceptional service. Profiling customers to determine their needs, then cross-selling appropriate products and services and/or referring customer to the integrated platform. They are responsible for providing a broad base of services, including deposit-based, credit, investment and fee-based products, with the goal of acquiring 100% of the customer's business. Develops and maintains relationships with Univest partners to maximize sales opportunities and achieve minimum sales standards. Proactively makes outbound sales calls to inform customers about a wide variety of financial services solutions that will meet their needs and deepen the customer experience and relationship. The incumbent will also be responsible to service customers at the teller line by completing a variety of financial transactions following technical and operational guidelines.ResponsibilitiesBRANCH HOURS (some locations may vary):

Monday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM 12:00 PM (2-3 per month are required)

POSITION INCLUDES:

Perform all teller and platform transactions promptly, efficiently, and accurately

Adhere to all procedures including operational and corporate customer service guidelines

Operate technology as required

Supervision of teller operations

Increased responsibility and adherence in signing authority

Completion of the Excel Level 1 course and completion of the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program

Identify customer needs and cross sell opportunities to develop new business

Develop working relationships with integrated partners

Proactively initiate sales conversations

Participation and management of tele-consulting efforts

Develop knowledge and understanding of Univest Products and Services

Leverage bank promotions

Adhere to outlined sales flow

Learn and become proficient in daily operational procedures

Actively participate in branch activities, development and training programs

Manage and coach staff to desired performance levels

Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

Perform additional duties as requiredQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma/GED or equivalency

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize

Experience in Retail Sales or Telemarketing with proven sales results

Strong written/verbal/organizational skills

Demonstrated leadership/supervisory ability

Energetic and engaging interpersonal communication skills

Previous experience with MS Office Suite

Previous banking experience or completion of ABA Banking Basics suite

Proficiency in daily operational procedures

Completion of training in SSR Suite Training

Proficiency in daily operational procedures

Complete notary training if applicable

Neat, professional appearance following established guidelines for appropriate dress

Complete the Univest University Supervisor Certificate Program and the "Coaching for Performance Excellence" course.
