This role administers program(s) and provides oversight and support to program staff in coordinating program services.The CHOP Medical Financial Partnership (MFP) is an anti-poverty medicine initiative which acknowledges poverty as a chief social determinant of health and, as such, provides free, high-quality financial services to patient families to increase financial wellbeing and thereby health. Services include financial counseling, tax preparation, and public benefits navigation and are mostly provided within the trusted environment of the primary care clinic.The Program Coordinator will assist in administering MFP services and provide support to program staff in coordinating program services. Specifically, the Program Coordinator will support MFP's program manager and director in administrative tasks related to service partner contracts, internal departmental collaboration, and program data collection. The Program Coordinator will also play a critical role in launching new program services as needed.
This role is a hybrid position and may be expected to work nights and/or weekends based on seasonal program services.What you will do
Oversee day-to-day operations and work product
Monitor and coordinate program operations, resources and projects including develop project plans and facilitate the resolution of issues.
Enact policies and procedures, and maintain related documentation and databases.
Collaborate across teams and serve as the primary liaison for the program.
Oversee and participate in team, project and program meetings.
Manage and maintain operating budget, supplies and resources.
Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
Monitor and support related finance, accounting and billing functions.
Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required.
Provide advanced administrative support as needed.
Perform other duties and projects as required.
Education Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED Required
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Qualifications
At least one (1) year of administration, coordination or program experience Required
At least three (3) years of administration, coordination or program experience Preferred
At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare related environment Preferred
At least one (1) year of leadership, management, or supervisory experience Preferred

Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
